Kawasaki Concours Fairings for Sale
We've started writing about Kawasaki Concours fairings several times, but always became a little stuck. If you are a fan of the Kawasaki Concours, or Connie for short, you know that the pedigree for this particular motorcycle is long. The first Concours rolled off the assembly line in 1985 with production still running to this day (2011 of this writing). But right in the middle, at 2007, Kawasaki changed course, and completely redesigned the Concours motorcycle, which includes the Kawasaki Concours fairings in that design switch.
So we're stuck in wanting to bring both the original Kawasaki Concours fairings as well as the newer Connie fairings from the ZX-14 based motorcycle! Not a bad problem to have, but for you, our visitor, you will need to remember to check the fairings for compatibility with the GTR1000 and the ZG1000 Concours or the newer models in ZG1400 Concours or Concours 14.

A lot of the fairings for the two motorcycles may be difficult to match up, but one part that looks absolutely different is the Kawasaki Concours mid fairing. The second iteration of the Concours was redesigned with wings to help deflect air flow around the riders legs and mid section. Unfortunately the first two model years also tended to cause a bit of heat build-up behind the fairings, causing uncomfortable heat to gather around the rider's legs.
The 2009 and later Concours fairings were redesigned to let the engine heat escape past the rider, giving a more comfortable riding experience!
Almost all of the fairings shown above on our page will be OEM Kawasaki Concours fairings. For the most part they are individual pieces which have been removed from damaged Concours motorcycles. Except for the rare scratch here and there, these fairings should be in good and solid used condition.

Kawasaki Concours Fairing Colors
The Concours 14 has been available in several different colors including metallic black, silver, candy red, sapphire blue, and moondust gray. As of the 2010 model year, there were only three colors released. Neptune blue just for the North American and New Zealand markets. Neptune Blue and Metallic Gray for all other markets.
The earlier model Kawasaki Concours was available in several different colors, but the most popular color has always been the black.
